Statement of Purpose

The Ordinariate Members Fellowship of Boston is an unofficial voluntary fellowship of members of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter, a non-geographic Catholic diocese covering the entire USA and Canada. Many Ordinariate Members in the Boston area gather for worship together with The Congregation of St Athanasius (a Pastoral Provision community of the Archdiocese of Boston).

We worship together using the Divine Worship Missal Liturgy in beautiful Elizabethan English. Hymns are chosen primarily from "The Hymnal 1940" supplemented by occasional selections from "The New English Hymnal" and other sources of traditional hymns.

Our long-term goal is to carry out the mission of evangelization of the Ordinariate and to grow as an Ordinariate community, establish sufficient financial stability to obtain a place to gather for worship and programs, and receive and support a priest.

As we grow, please come and worship with us and consider making us your parish home as we build a large and vibrant community in service to Our Lord.

For GPS navigation, please use 101 Willow Street, Reading, MA 01867, without any name, otherwise you will be routed to an unrelated location. The Congregation of Saint Athanasius is not related in any way to the Parish Church of Saint Athanisius in Reading, and the St. Augusting Chapel in Reading is not related to the chapel of the same name in Lawrence.
